RAMONA ATANACIO is a Senior Associate at Andrus Anderson LLP. She represents plaintiffs in class actions and complex litigation.
Ramona has successfully litigated on behalf of hundreds of individuals who have suffered serious injuries as a result of automobile accidents, defective products, dangerous premises, negligence, toxic torts, and intentional torts. She has secured millions of dollars in compensation for the harm suffered by them and their families.
Before Ramona began working at Andrus Anderson LLP, she worked at Rains, Lucia, Stern, St. Phalle & Silver PC in their Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation groups, and at the Veen Firm, PC.
Ramona earned her J.D. with a concentration in Public Interest from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. During law school, she worked for the Honorable Judge Wilken and the Honorable Judge Armstrong of the U.S. Northern District of California. She also worked for the Office of the Public Defender in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Ramona directed the Renters’ Legal Assistance, which served the public throughout California. Ramona earned her B.A. in Political Science from University of California, Berkeley.
Ramona is a member of the Women Trial Lawyers Caucus for the American Association for Justice, and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States. She was a Fellow for the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies, and has assisted in various public advocacy projects such those at the Institute of Justice and Democracy in Haiti and the Self Help Library for the Alameda County Superior Court.
