Lori Andrus Receives Pursuit of Justice Award from American Bar Association

The American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) has presented San Francisco Attorney Lori E. Andrus with its Pursuit of Justice Award. The Pursuit of Justice Award recognizes lawyers and judges who have shown outstanding merit and who excel in providing access to justice for all.

“The TIPS Plaintiffs Policy Task Force is very pleased to award Lori with the Pursuit of Justice Award,” said G. Glennon Troublefield, ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section Chair. “She has worked tirelessly to promote fairness in our society and restore justice in the legal community and is recognized by her peers as a consummate professional.”

Ms. Andrus commented: “I accept this award on behalf of my clients: the hard-working women attorneys who have to fight for equal pay, the women who have been denied employment because they are pregnant, and the women who have been injured by dangerous pharmaceuticals or defective medical devices. The civil justice system provides these women with remedies, but the system only works when a zealous advocate is willing to take the case on a contingency basis. Andrus Anderson stands shoulder to shoulder with our clients as they pursue truth, justice and accountability. I am grateful for the recognition of my firm’s constant dedication to our clients and to the civil justice system.”
