On January 9, 2014, Lori Andrus will be featured on a panel discussing pay inequity in the legal profession. San Francisco Trial Lawyers’ Association is hosting the event, which will also include Jennifer Reisch, Legal Director for Equal Rights Advocates, and Carla Minnard, of the Minnard Law Firm. Ingrid Evans of the Evans Law Firm will moderate.
Ms. Andrus will advise attendees of the latest statistics on the pay differential between male and female attorneys, provide historical background, and offer pointers on how law firms can implement fair compensation schemes and combat unconscious bias in evaluation and promotion processes. Ms. Andrus will also tackle the topic in an article in Trial Magazine’s March 2014 issue.
