The settlement provides for a $10M claims fund for attorneys to get reimbursed for overcharges by Ciox for medical records requests on behalf of California patients over the last 10 years.
If you ordered medical records from a California medical provider, and were billed by Ciox/HealthPort between May 2009, and December 18, 2019, you can recoup all of the overcharges, including up to $45 in improper fees and 15-cents per page.
