LELAND H. BELEW joined Andrus Anderson as an associate attorney in 2013, after working as a law clerk for the firm during law school. Mr. Belew assists with many of Andrus Anderson’s cases, but his work has primarily focused on employment and consumer class actions, complex business and lending litigation, and personal injury.
Mr. Belew earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and graduated Order of the Coif. During law school Mr. Belew was a judicial extern to the Honorable Jacqueline Corley, as well as a special intern to the United Nations’ Resident Coordinator in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and a mediator for the San Francisco Small Claims Court. He was a member of USF’s Law Review, and a founder and managing editor of the Law and Global Justice Forum. Growing up predominately in the greater San Diego area, Mr. Belew received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts where he graduated magna cum laude.
Mr. Belew is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the American Bar Association. He is admitted to the California State Bar.
