Ms. Siegel, originally from Miami, Florida, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and History from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law, where she was a Paul J. Liacos Scholar and graduated cum laude.
Ms. Siegel has dedicated her entire legal career to advocating on behalf of individuals who have been harmed by another’s negligent or intentional wrongdoing. Prior to joining Andrus Anderson, she worked as an associate at The Cartwright Law Firm, where she focused on complex personal injury and wrongful death claims arising from defective products, inadequate security, auto accidents, dangerous premises, and governmental or public entity liability. She also has experience in employment discrimination, wage and hour litigation, landlord/tenant law, and medical malpractice litigation.
Ms. Siegel has been honored with multiple professional awards and nominations for her work and has been named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2018 and 2019. In 2017, she received the Outstanding Barristers Award from the San Francisco Bar Association. In addition, she was selected as a finalist by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association for Trial Lawyer of the Year (2016) and Outstanding New Lawyer (2017 and 2018). In recent years, she has been increasingly asked to lecture or author on a variety of topics including informal discovery, mediation, and inadequate security.
Ms. Siegel serves on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, where she is the currentCo-Chair of the Women’s Caucus and Diversity Committee. She is a past Co-Chair of the Barristers Litigation Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco and continues to serve on the Section’s Executive Committee. She is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and American Association for Justice. An active member of the California Bar, Ms. Siegel is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for Northern California.
